Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with at least 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience and current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification.
Responsibilities
- Work in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit of a hospital
- Patient ratio is 1:6 in a mixed med/surg and telemetry setting
- Pyxis medication system is used
- Amrita is the documentation/EMR system used
- Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week (18:00-06:00)
- Two on-call shifts per month are required
- First time travelers are accepted for this position
- Scrub color is flexible and any color may be worn
- Requested time off must be approved by the manager
Requirements
- Active CO or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent MS/Tele experience required
- Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
- Experience in med/surg and cardiac telemetry settings required
