Pediatric Dentist Opportunity in Juneau, AK Position: Pediatric Dentist Location: Juneau, AK Bonus: $25K Sign On BonusSchedule: Full-time or Part-Time availableCompensation & Benefits: Salary: $190,000-$200,000 DOE annually Incentives: Relocation assistance, sign-on bonus, and loan repayment options Comprehensive Benefits: Retirement, paid time off, paid parental leave Insurance: Health, dental, vision, life, long-term & short-term disability Responsibilities: Provide pediatric dental care for patients ages 0-18, focusing on SEARHC beneficiaries and Denali Kid Care recipients Develop and promote pediatric dental health initiatives Advise general providers on pediatric oral health matters Participate in village field trips and provide direct patient care in remote locations Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and infection control guidelines Supervise and support dental staff as needed Qualifications: Education: DDS or DMD degree from an accredited program Training: Pediatric Dental Residency from an accredited program Licensure: Active dental license in Alaska or another U.S. state (Alaska preferred) Certifications: BLS and PALS (American Heart Association) Experience: Strong clinical, diagnostic, and treatment skills in pediatric dentistry Additional Requirements: Occasional travel to remote villages via jet, ferry, and small aircraft Ability to work extended hours when needed Comfortable working with apprehensive or uncooperative pediatric patients
