This is a contract to perm role after 90 days. Schedule is Monday-Friday 10am-2pm to start.

Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Medical Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This hybrid role includes both front office (administrative) and back office (clinical support) responsibilities. The ideal candidate is organized, friendly, and comfortable working in a dynamic, client-focused environment. Phlebotomy experience is a plus but not required.
Key Responsibilities
Front Office (Receptionist) Duties:

Greet clients in a warm, professional manner and assist with check-in/check-out procedures

Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and manage appointment scheduling

Verify insurance information and assist with billing processes as needed

Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information in compliance with HIPAA

Keep the front desk and waiting area organized and presentable
Back Office (Medical Assistant) Duties:

Prepare treatment rooms and assist clinicians as needed

Record vital signs, update patient records, and assist with EMR documentation

Maintain stock of clinical supplies and ensure cleanliness of exam areas

Assist with administrative support for medical documentation and referrals
Other / Preferred Duties:

Perform phlebotomy (draw blood) and handle specimens in accordance with lab procedures

Assist with coordination of lab results and follow-up communication
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED (required)

Completion of a Medical Assistant program (preferred)

Phlebotomy certification or willingness to obtain within 60 days

1–2 years of experience in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Familiarity with EMR systems and standard medical office procedures

Strong interpersonal, communication, and multitasking skills

CPR certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
Work Environment

Monday–Friday 10am-2pm schedule

On-site only (no remote work)

Must be able to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 25 lbs
