Emory University s Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery is seeking a full-time, fellowship-trained Cardiothoracic Surgeon to join their esteemed team at a medical center in western Georgia. This role offers the rank of Clinical Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor, depending on qualifications and experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Integration: Join an established team including one full-time CT Surgeon and two Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) employed by Emory University.
- Surgical Excellence: Perform a wide range of cardiothoracic surgical procedures in two brand new cardiovascular operating rooms (CV ORs).
- Clinical Impact: Contribute to a team that has successfully performed over 180 open heart cases since January 2023.
- Location: Based at a medical center in western Georgia, approximately one hour from Atlanta. Candidates are required to live within 20 minutes of the medical center.
Job Eligibility Requirements
- Education: Fellowship-trained in Cardiothoracic Surgery.
- Academic Rank: Open to Clinical Instructor, Assistant, or Associate Professor ranks.
- Experience: Proven track record in cardiothoracic surgery.
