RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work on 3 East medical-surgical unit with 22-bed capacity
• Maximum patient ratio of 6:1
• Must have 1+ years acute medical-surgical experience within the last year
• Must be able to care for 4-6 patients at a time
• Preferred: 2+ years experience working with neurological patients including CVAs, TIAs, and altered mental status
• Perform standard nursing skills including IV insertions, urinary catheter insertion/maintenance, central line maintenance, medication administration, continuous bladder irrigation, and NGT insertion/maintenance
• Document in Meditech EMR system
• Work with standard medical equipment
• Float to other medical-surgical units as needed
• Day shift staffing includes 1 charge nurse, 4 RNs, 2 PCAs, 1 unit secretary, and 0-2 sitters
• Night shift staffing includes 4 RNs, 1-2 PCAs, and 0-2 sitters
• Maintain friendly, positive, patient-centered, and team-focused approach
• Scrubs required for dress code
• RN license required
