Job Requirements for Assignment :
Texas medical license (or active IMLC) required
Board Certified or Board Eligible required
Inpatient GI only
ACLS required
General GI with ERCP
Endoscopy trained GI nursing staff for procedures
Number of patients and procedures will vary, they expect the load to be up to 10 patients per day to round on and procedures as needed for this
There is Anesthesia backup and they do prefer conscious sedation when possible.
Hospital admits the patients
Abdominal pain, GI bleed, SBO, food bolus, Ulceration, gastritis, perhaps diagnose carcinoma but no treatment.
