Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with at least 2 years of experience and ARRT certification for an outpatient breast imaging contract.
Responsibilities
- Outpatient breast imaging center setting
- Performs mammograms, breast ultrasound, bone density scans, and breast biopsy procedures
- Day shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- 13-week contract with 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
- Patient population focused on breast care and diagnostic imaging
- Uses Cerner EMR, prior experience preferred
- No on-call or weekend requirements
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
- 100% credentialing requirements must be completed prior to start
- Compliance is strict with no exceptions or conditional starts allowed
- Badge photo must be submitted upon offer acceptance
- RTO must be requested at the time of application
- Vaccination and testing requirements may apply
- Candidate may be prescreened by phone prior to offer
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography or breast imaging
- Current ARRT certification required
- Current BLS certification required
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred
- License required if applicable
