Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN to join a hospital ICU team for day shifts, requiring a WY or compact RN license and two years of recent ICU experience.
Responsibilities
- Work in the ICU/CCU unit of a hospital setting
- Adult patient population in a critical care environment
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 19:00
- 13-week assignment
- Floating may be required within a 25-mile radius
- Must not be currently employed in a permanent position at any location while on assignment
- Candidates must adhere to a 50-mile radius rule for eligibility as a traveler, with different pay rates for local candidates
- Electronic timekeeping system is used for clocking in and out
- All certifications must be valid through the first 30 days of assignment
- Required to be listed as resigned in the HealthTrust HR System if previously employed
- No references are required at the time of consideration
Requirements
- Active WY or compact RN license required at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from recognized providers (RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
- Must provide full US Social Security Number, date of birth, and copies of required certifications
