Key Details: Location: Missouri, near Greenville Start Date: March 10, 2025 End Date: Ongoing coverage needed Shifts: Monday Friday, 40 hours per week, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (occasional 7:00 AM 3:00 PM shifts) Duration: Minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension Specialty: Anesthesiology Practice Setting: Both inpatient and outpatient coverage required Facility Type: Hospital with multiple specialties, including surgery and cath labs Responsibilities: Provide anesthesiology services for a variety of surgical procedures, including: General anesthesia Regional anesthesia Spinal and epidural anesthesia Pain management techniques Post-operative care (e.g., epidural and extremity blocks) Work with a CRNA team under medically directed supervision (CRNA ratio 4:1) Evaluate and manage acute volume and blood pressure issues in patients Perform complex procedures, including central line and arterial line placements, and use of x-ray guidance in blocks Supervise and work alongside skilled support staff Qualifications: Board Certification: Required in Anesthesiology Licensure: Must be licensed in Missouri Certifications: ACLS and BLS required; no ATLS or PALS needed Experience: Experience in general anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and pain management preferred Skills: Proficiency in adult, pediatric, and trauma anesthesia is preferred Facility Information: 18 operating rooms, 2 GI labs, 3 cath labs, 2 L&D surgical suites Complex surgeries performed, including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, and orthopedic procedures No trauma services provided Additional Details: Patients Per Shift: 5-15 On-call: No call required Support Staff: 12-15 CRNAs, 3-4 MDAs EMR System: Epic Credentialing: 30-90 days Travel & Lodging: Nearest Airport: Convenient access to local airport for travel arrangements Lodging: Recommended lodging options nearby This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic healthcare team in a beautiful region of Missouri.
