Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, focusing on telemetry and medical-surgical nursing. Floating between like units may be required.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, assessing and monitoring patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Respond to patient needs and advocate for patients and families.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
- Maintain patient safety and adhere to infection control protocols.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing (4 years preferred).
- BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is preferred.
- Previous charge experience is a plus.
