Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced Operating Room RN for a day shift surgical position with required BLS certification and rotating on-call responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Surgical Unit of a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule from 07:00 to 15:30, Monday through Friday
- On-call required with rotation for weekdays, weekends, and holidays
- 13-week contract assignment
- Duties include perioperative patient care and participation in surgical procedures
- Must provide coverage during holidays as scheduled
- Local and travel candidates are both eligible for this position
Requirements
- Active RN license eligible for primary source verification via Nursys
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or Red Cross
- Minimum 1 year of recent experience in operating room nursing
- Completion of DCI/BVP training (can be satisfied through approved providers or CDC resource)
