Reliant Staffing Solutions/RSS Medical is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Los Angeles, California.
Job Description & Requirements

Job Summary:
- Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Accepts first-time travelers
- Must have cardiovascular, open heart, and balloon pump experience
- Unit census averages 24 patients, with 28 rooms/beds
- Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
- Care required for adults and geriatric patients
- Every other weekend coverage required
- No on-call requirement
- Self-scheduling available
- Royal blue scrubs required
Key Responsibilities/Skills:
- Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias
- Follow IV insulin protocols
- Manage arterial lines
- Administer blood products
- Provide central and PICC line care/management
- Start IVs
- Care for ventilated patients
- Interpret arterial blood gases (ABG)
- Perform suctioning
Required Certifications:
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Certification
- VIP, MAB, or CPI certification (in-person courses only)
