The Sleep Medicine Physician provides outpatient diagnosis and management of a variety of adult sleep disorders by interpreting sleep studies and coordinating treatment plans. The role requires board eligibility in Sleep Medicine, active medical licensure, and proficiency with Epic EMR in a clinic setting with no on-call duties. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary sleep team and use of onsite sleep lab resources are integral to the position.
ATC West Healthcare Services is seeking a Locum Sleep Medicine Physician to support increased access to sleep services. The provider will work in an outpatient clinic setting, interpreting sleep studies and managing a full range of sleep disorders. This role involves daytime clinic hours with no call responsibilities and collaboration with an established team of sleep medicine physicians and APPs.

Schedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
Practice Setting: Office/clinic; remote interpretation of sleep studies allowed
Call: None
Patient Volume: patients/day
Team: 2 sleep physicians, 6 APPs
Onsite Resources: Sleep lab, X-ray, 2 polysomnography techs, 4 MAs
EMR: Epic
Credentialing Timeframe: days
Evaluate and manage adult patients with sleep-related conditions.
Interpret sleep studies performed in a hospital outpatient department.
Provide follow-up care after sleep studies, including treatment planning and patient education.
Common conditions treated include:
Obstructive Sleep Apnea (OSA)
Central Sleep Apnea
Insomnia
Narcolepsy
Hypersomnia
REM Sleep Behavior Disorder
Circadian Rhythm Disorders
Snoring
Board Eligible in Sleep Medicine REQUIRED
Active South Carolina medical license REQUIRED
BLS certification REQUIRED
Expertise in interpreting sleep studies
Experience managing the full spectrum of adult sleep disorders
Comfortable working independently in a busy outpatient clinic using Epic EMR
