Position supports 34‑bed facility focused on stroke, brain injury, neuro, trauma, spinal cord, amputation, orthopedic recovery. - MD or DO licensed and in good standing in state - Board certified and current in specialty - PM&R residency or ≥1‑yr rehab fellowship OR 1‑yr internship plus ≥2 yrs inpatient rehabilitation experience - Ability to provide medical management of inpatient rehab patients

This Hospital of Montana is a state-of-the-art, 34-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital dedicated to the treatment and recovery of individuals who have experienced the debilitating effects of a severe injury or illness.
Our rehabilitation programs provide ongoing care and specialized treatment for patients throughout their recovery journey. We offer customized, intense rehabilitation tailored to the individual needs of those recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury.

As a Staff Physician you will have:

  • Doctor of medicine or osteopathy, duly licensed and registered to practice medicine or surgery, and is in good standing under the laws of the state.

  • Certified and maintains all board certifications in his or her specialty areas by a nationally recognized board.

  • Demonstrates appropriate experience or training to provide rehabilitation services through one of the following:

  • A formal residency in PMR

  • A fellowship in rehabilitation for a minimum of one year

  • Has completed a one-year hospital internship with a minimum of two years' of training or experience as a collaborative team member in the medical management of inpatients requiring rehabilitation services
