About the Clinician's WorkdayThis position is full-time and available ASAP, ideally starting in March, with an estimated credentialing timeline of 90 days. The practice setting includes outpatient, inpatient, and telehealth, with a schedule of five 8-hour days and no call or weekend coverage. Patient visits include survivorship, advance care planning, chemotherapy state visits, benign hematology consults, and pre-chemotherapy follow-ups. The EMR is EPIC/Beacon, with all chemo ordered through treatment plans. The role may be open to a PA or ARNP and involves no procedures or BMT. The patient mix is approximately 60% oncology and 40% hematology, primarily solid tumors, with some lymphoma but likely no leukemia. The staff is well-rounded, including MAs and RNs, and EPIC/Beacon experience is a plus.
