Opportunity:
Physician (MD) - Obstetrics and Gynecology
Job Details:
• Manage approximately 5 patient encounters per shift in a 10-bed department
• Perform routine deliveries with required vaginal delivery skills
• Make critical decisions regarding c-section procedures
• Preferred skills include managing low and high-risk pregnancies
• Conduct FHR interpretation (NST/CST/FSE) as needed
• Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I/Screening and Level II/Targeted)
• Handle complicated deliveries including c-sections, breech, multiple births, and abruptions
• Conduct amniocentesis procedures when necessary
• Repair 3rd & 4th degree lacerations as needed
• Provide office/minor gynecology services including IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP, etc.
• Perform surgical gynecology procedures both open and laparoscopic
• Handle operative/major procedures including ectopic pregnancy, ovary removal, cystectomy, and extensive LOA's
• Must be licensed in Texas to apply for this position
• Board certification eligible with BLS and PALS certifications required
• Estimated credentialing timeframe is approximately 5 days
• Position starts February 16, 2026 with ongoing assignment potential
Compensation:
