Annual Salary: $130k $175k (varies depending on years of experience)
A well-established, growing medical group in the Newark area is seeking an experienced Hospitalist NP or PA to join their inpatient team. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with limited weekend coverage and an excellent daily rate.
Position Overview
The provider will handle inpatient rounding responsibilities and manage follow-up documentation remotely. This is an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a steady hospital-based role with flexibility and strong support from an experienced team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct inpatient rounds approximately 2 4 hours per day
- Complete follow-up documentation and patient charting from home after rounding
- Handle patient calls and necessary coordination with care teams
- Provide coverage one to two weekends per month as needed
- Collaborate with hospital staff and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes
- Utilize EMR systems (Epic experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Active New Jersey NP or PA license
- Valid DEA and CDS certification (required)
- Minimum 1 2 years of hospitalist experience
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills
- Experience with Epic EMR is highly preferred
- Bilingual ability is not required
