Senior Phlebotomist at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Day shifts.

Working under the supervision of the Cancer Center leadership team and in collaboration with the Cancer Center caregivers and providers. The Phlebotomy/Clinical MA is an individual with demonstrated clinical experience who provides ancillary assistance to clinical staff of the Cancer Center and its environs by:

. Demonstrating professional communication and interpersonal skills, superior organizational skills, and be able to deal effectively with multiple demands.

•Assisting in inventory ordering, receiving and stocking supplies/equipment, and maintaining inventory control.

Required Qualifications:

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician I License. Or
• California Certified Phlebotomy Technician II License.
• 1 year Experience as MA Clinical Tech.
• 9 months Phlebotomy experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Upon hire: Medical Assistant Certification (CMA).

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
