American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a mobile PET position requiring ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification and at least 1 year of recent experience.
Responsibilities- Mobile PET role with travel to an additional facility one day per week
- Work is conducted in ambulatory and hospital settings performing nuclear medicine, PET, theranostic, planar, SPECT, and SPECT/CT procedures
- Monday through Friday schedule, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, day shifts
- Candidates must be able to work independently and travel is part of the weekly routine
- Responsibilities include performing and assessing nuclear medicine and PET procedures, including quality assurance and quality control
- Must maintain radiation and patient safety standards and follow appropriate protocols for radiopharmaceuticals
- Will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and may assist in training new team members and students
- Applicants should have strong communication skills and experience with EMR, PACS, and general computer systems
- May be required to take call as needed
- Any color scrubs may be worn except denim or inappropriate prints
- Role involves caring for a broad age range from newborns to geriatrics
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Current BLS certification from AHA required
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification is required
- Active TX license required if applicable
- Flu shot required during flu season with no exemptions granted
- Two professional references required for consideration
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility; local travelers not accepted
