Urology Physician Locums Job - Logansport, IndianaDetails for Assignment: Start Date: Aiming for March/April (90-120 days credentialing required prior to start)
Ongoing need: 1-2 weeks per month (one provider already scheduled for 2 weeks/month beginning in March)
Schedule: Monday-Thursday clinic and OR
Patient Volume: 24 scheduled patients/day (100% scheduled, no walk-ins)
Patient Population: 100% adult
Practice Breakdown: 95% outpatient / 5% inpatient
Solo Urologist practice
Supervision of clinic APPs expected
Procedural Expectations:Required:• General Adult Urology
• Ureteroscopy
• Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy (ESWL)
Preferred:• Advanced endoscopic techniques
• Laparoscopic surgeries
• TRUS biopsies
• Renal and bladder ultrasound
• Prostatectomy
• Nephrectomy
• Pelvic lymph node dissection
Surgical/OR Volume Expectations: Hospital-based surgeries: 6 per week
Office/clinic-based procedures: 17 per week
Clinic Resources & Support: 3 exam rooms
Onsite lab and X-ray
Equipment includes disposable cystoscope and standard reusable office-based procedure equipment
Support staff: 2 RNs, 1 LPN, 3 MAs, plus office support
EMR: Cerner (inpatient and outpatient)
Requirements: Board Certification required
