Urgent Care Physician needed for busy and well-established Urgent Care Clinic

Dignity Health Medical Group-NorthState is an established physician-owned multi-specialty group serving the continuing health care needs of California's North State region with care centers in Redding and Red Bluff. The group's affiliation with Dignity Health, one of the nation's largest health systems, connects it to the highest standard of health care available We are seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urgent Care Physician to join our well established Urgent Care Clinic in Redding, CA.

Compensation Range: $289,772 - $326,452 / Year

• Shift-based compensation
• Full time is 168 shifts/year
• Work one weekend/month
• Clinic is open 7 days/ week
• Monday - Friday 10 hours shifts
• Saturday-Sunday - 8 hour shifts

Want to spend the weekend in the city? Sacramento is just over two hours away through easy farmland and the bay area is only about three to four hours from Redding. Want to refresh your spirit by dipping your toes in the ocean? A quick three hour drive takes you through bigfoot country to the northern CA coast. (Bonus points if you drive about 20 minutes farther to explore Jurassic Park - aka Fern Canyon - or the forest moon of Endor - aka Grizzly Creek SP.)

Job Requirements

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Where You'll Work

• PatientCare: Diagnose and treat medical conditions; develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
• Procedures: Perform surgical and non-surgical procedures; provide pre-operative and post-operative care for patients.
• Communication: Effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams; foster a collaborative approach.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations.
• Team Collaboration: Work with healthcare professionals and participate in interdisciplinary meetings.

Pay Range
$148.00 - $149.00 /hour
