Metrology Technician

What you will do
- Perform scheduled calibrations and minor adjustments on instruments used in production, utilities, and labs.
- Document calibration results using certified standards and software, ensuring compliance with GMP and GDP principles.
- Troubleshoot instrument issues and support deviation investigations.
- Maintain accurate records for audits and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with vendors and supervise contracted calibration services.
- Assist in updating SOPs and maintenance plans to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Follow all safety and environmental protocols while performing calibration tasks.
What we are looking for
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training or trade school or related internship preferred.
- 0–2 years of experience in calibration or maintenance; pharma/GMP experience is a plus.
- Basic understanding of calibration principles and traceability requirements.
- Ability to work with tools and test equipment and perform troubleshooting under supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments requiring PPE and occasional weekend or after-hours support.
- Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and access elevated platforms or confined spaces as needed.
