Whether you re available full-time or prefer 1 2 weeks per month, this position offers flexibility, professional challenge, and the chance to work in a department known for its complex, high-acuity cases and strong team culture.
HighlightsFlexible Schedule: Full-time preferred, but part-time (1+ week/month) also considered.
Complex, Rewarding Cases: Engage in advanced interventions coronary, lower extremity, and high-risk PCI.
Collaborative Team: Work alongside skilled nurses, techs, APPs, and residents in a supportive, collegial environment.
Schedule: Monday Friday, 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m.
Call: Some nights/weekends (25% callback rate, discussed during interview)
Cases: 2 4 per day Adults (18+)
Support Staff: Nurses, techs, APPs
Hospital Size: 550 beds
EMR: Epic
Procedures: Right/left heart caths, coronary angiograms/interventions, chronic total occlusions, high-risk PCI (Impella support), lower extremity work
Environment: Balanced caseload; not overly busy but clinically complex ideal for physicians who excel under pressure and value collaboration
Board Certification: Interventional Cardiology (fellowship required)
Experience: Minimum 5 years preferred due to complexity of cases
Licensure: Active license required; IMLC considered
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, DEA required
Credentialing: 90 days
