Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM (4x12s available upon request)
• Must be comfortable floating between all PCU and MS units - may float 2-3 times per shift as staffing is re-evaluated every 4 hours
• PCU patient ratio averages 5:1, MS ratio averages 6:1 (may flex up to 7:1)
• Weekend requirement: Either every other weekend or 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week scheduling block
• Must work one holiday per 13-week contract
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Must be experienced in IV therapy, phlebotomy, and blood product administration
• Skilled in central line care, trach management, and non-invasive airway support including nasal cannula, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest tubes
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, titrating cardiac drips
• Must be capable of managing PCA and heparin protocols, administering IV insulin
• Background in telemetry and stepdown-level care required with cardiovascular experience in pre/post cardiac cath settings
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must provide screenshot confirming commitment to start date with submittal
