A Neonatologist physician position in Texas involves providing specialized care for critically ill and premature newborns in a Level II NICU. The role includes coordinating with healthcare teams, managing patient treatment plans, and facilitating rounds in a hospital setting with comprehensive support staff. Neonatology in TX Central West TX 80 miles to Midland-Odessa and Abilene 200 miles to Lubbock, San Antonio and Austin 4 hours to Dallas Daily flights to and from DFW airport Join a Hospital employed group. The Neonatologist will be responsible for working closely with other healthcare specialists. Cover 4 beds in a Level II NICU and the 10 intermediate care beds. The position provides care for the diagnosis and treatment of newborns with conditions such as breathing disorders, infections, & birth defects. This position will coordinate care and medical manage newborns born premature, critically ill, or in need of surgery. 7 days on & 7 days off, and on call 24 coverage, can be from home. Neonatologist Physician will facilitate rounds to provide active management of NICU patients. Including but not limited to vent weaning, nutrition adjustments, lab reviews and meeting with family s A full complement of ancillary staff including excellent administrative support Hospital delivers 2000 babies per year. A team of 7 OB/GYN Physicians and 8 APP s: as well as 15 Pediatricians and 5 Advanced Practice Professionals.
