Internal Medicine Faculty Opening in Huntsville, ALBirmingham & Chattanooga 100mA respected and growing residency program in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Internal Medicine Physician to serve as Core Faculty for its Internal Medicine Residency Program. This is a full-time, hospital-employed role focused on outpatient preceptorship and medical education in one of the country s most innovative and livable cities.Position Overview:
- Full-time position with 32 hours of preceptorship, 4 hours of administrative duties, and 4 hours of didactic instruction each week
- Supervise and mentor internal medicine residents in an outpatient setting
- Guide residents in achieving rotation goals and meeting educational milestones
- Review resident EMR documentation, care plans, and notes with appropriate feedback and addendums
Qualifications:- Must be Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Internal Medicine (U.S.-trained)
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency program in the United States
- Passion for medical education and resident mentorship
