About the Role

*We are looking for a nurse with gtube and trach experience to care for an 8 year old male with cerebral palsy in Middleburg. Nurse must be able to attend school with the patient.*

Responsibilities of Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Medication administration per physician orders
• Physician ordered treatments for:
  • Nutrition via a feeding tube
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Suctioningnasal, oral and/or endotracheal
  • Ventilation care
  • Seizure assessment and treatment

Requirements for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs)

• Current, active FloridaLPN license
• Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
• G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
• TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
• Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
• 1- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
