A Critical Care/Trauma Physician provides specialized medical care to critically ill or injured patients, managing life-support interventions such as ventilation, chest tube insertion, and various catheter placements. This role involves performing advanced procedures like bronchoscopy, lumbar puncture, and dialysis catheter placement while ensuring patient stabilization in acute care settings. The position offers PRN coverage with travel and lodging provided, and includes malpractice insurance and licensing support.

Dates and Schedule 2022: Jan 10 - 16 Days, Jan 31 - Feb 6 Nights, Feb 7 - 13 Nights, Feb 28 - Mar 6 Days, Mar 7 - 13 Nights, Mar 28 - Apr 3 Nights, Apr 4 - 10 Nights, Apr 25 - May 1 Days, May 2 - 8 Nights, May 23 - 29 Nights, May 30 - Jun 5 Days & Nights, Jun 20-26 Days, Jun 27 - Jul 3 Days & Nights.
Required Procedures:
- Vent Management
- Chest tube insertion
- Bronchoscopy
- Central lines, arterial lines, PA catheter, IABP
- Dialysis catheter placement
- Lumbar puncture
- Paracentesis and Thoracentesis
