The organization serves mission-critical markets including aerospace, defense, space, life sciences, semiconductors, and power generation. It’s known for taking on complex, high-precision projects with advanced equipment, lean processes, and a customer-first culture.
The Opportunity
The National Sales Manager will be based in Charlotte, NC, reporting to the VP of Sales. This role focuses on driving growth through new business development, expanding existing accounts, and building strong customer partnerships. Regular travel to customer sites and company locations is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by developing new accounts and strengthening existing customer relationships.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through strategic planning and daily outreach.
- Present technical solutions to customers in key markets.
- Interpret engineered drawings and collaborate with engineering to develop competitive proposals.
- Monitor market activity, identify trends, and provide accurate forecasts.
- Mentor and support sales staff across multiple sites.
- Facilitate cross-selling opportunities between facilities.
- Partner with marketing on targeted campaigns.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development experience in CNC machining or metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of aerospace, defense, or space industry customer needs.
- Strong understanding of machining and fabrication processes.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated and willing to travel frequently.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
