Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for a Home Health position requiring at least one year of Home Health experience and a valid state license if applicable.
Responsibilities
- Work in a Home Health setting providing therapy services to clients in their homes
- Average caseload of 5-20 patient visits per day
- Service area covers a 40-80 mile radius
- Shifts are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with every 6th weekend required
- Epic is used for charting and EMR documentation
- No on-call or floating required
- Mileage is reimbursed at $0.55 per mile
- No more than 7 days of requested time off permitted during the 13-week contract
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Grey scrubs are required
- Return staff and extension policies apply per assignment duration rules
- Face fit testing and immunization requirements may apply
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year Home Health Physical Therapy experience required
- Current BLS certification required
- Valid state PT license required; pending license accepted in some locations (license required if applicable)
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Must be able to travel within a 40-80 mile territory
- Must reside at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible
