American Traveler is seeking a skilled RN for a dayshift Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position requiring at least one year of experience and current ACLS/BLS/PALS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in the Electrophysiology (EP) Lab of a hospital setting
- Dayshift schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week
- Assigns nursing care to groups of patients within the EP Lab
- Involvement in minor diagnostic procedures and electrophysiology treatments
- Patient monitoring, IV infusions, and medication administration responsibilities
- Core responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, and intervention in the EP Lab environment
- Must provide patient and family education related to care plans and hospital procedures
- Works collaboratively with physicians, support staff, and other care providers
- Oversight of support staff and delegation of appropriate tasks required
- Active Oklahoma or compact state (eNLC) RN license required
- At least 1 year of RN experience
- Associate degree in nursing from an accredited program required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association required
- Ability to function independently in specialty area after orientation
- Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility
