American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma experience and telemetry skills for a critical care role.
Responsibilities- Position is in a 10-bed ICU providing care for critically unstable adult medical/surgical patients
- Patient population includes those with acute coronary syndrome and unstable hemodynamics
- RN-to-patient ratio is 2:1 or 1:1 based on patient acuity and RN experience
- 12-hour rotating day shifts with every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday shifts
- Unit utilizes advanced cardiac monitoring systems and critical care equipment
- Responsibilities include continuous assessment, monitoring, and rapid intervention for patients with life-threatening conditions
- Must work collaboratively with other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive critical care
- Supportive team environment emphasizing total patient care and family support
- First time travelers are not specifically precluded from consideration
- Active NH or Compact RN license with proof of state residency
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1.5 years recent ICU experience, including telemetry and Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma experience within the last two years
- CCRN certification is preferred
- No local candidates; must live at least 75 miles from the facility
