Position Overview

• Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Schedule: Full-time, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday), 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM (1/2-hour lunch). No weekends or call.

Compensation:

• Pay Range: $240/hr
• OT: $360 after 40hrs/wk

• Type: Acute Care Hospital
• Location: Lexington, KY
• Technology: EMR (Epic preferred)
• Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)
• Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB.
• Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity)

Work Requirements

• Patients: Average of 1-9 patients per day, covering various procedures including central line and arterial line placements.
• Licensure: Must have or be willing to obtain a Kentucky state license.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; board certification (NBCRNA) is mandatory.

Additional Information

• Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
• Travel/Lodging: Local preferred, but willing to travel if needed.
