The role involves skills such as intubation and line placements, working under anesthesiologist supervision with a typical patient load of 1-9 per day. The position requires a Kentucky license, NBCRNA certification, and a minimum of one year of experience, with a full-time schedule and competitive compensation.
Position Overview
- Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Contract Length: 26 weeks
- Schedule: Full-time, 4x10-hour shifts (Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday), 6:30 AM to 5:30 PM (1/2-hour lunch). No weekends or call.
Compensation:
- Pay Range: $240/hr
- OT: $360 after 40hrs/wk

- Department description: CRNA would cover the following: Ortho, Trauma, Vascular, Neuro (No Heart)
- Skills required: Intubation, Central Line, Arterial line, Line Placement. Not likely needed to do blocks. No OB.
- Support staff: CRNA, Anesthesia Tech, Anesthesiologists. Will be directed by Anesthesiologist (General ratio 1:2 anesthesiologists to 1 CRNA and 1 resident, can be up to 1:4 anesthesiologists to CRNA for low acuity)
Work Requirements
- Patients: Average of 1-9 patients per day, covering various procedures including central line and arterial line placements.
- Licensure: Must have or be willing to obtain a Kentucky state license.
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year required; board certification (NBCRNA) is mandatory.
Additional Information
- Credentialing Timeframe: 90 days
- Travel/Lodging: Local preferred, but willing to travel if needed.
