Locum Tenens OB/GYN Opportunity in Nevada (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are seeking a dedicated physician to provide supplemental call coverage for both outpatient and inpatient services. Key Responsibilities:

• 24-Hour Call Coverage: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN services during scheduled call periods.
• Deliveries: Manage an average of 5 to 10 deliveries per week.
• Rounding: Perform both inpatient and outpatient rounding duties as needed.
• Patient Care: Serve 3-4 patients per shift in a 12-bed department.
• Admissions: Handle admissions as part of your call responsibilities.
• Privileges: Hospital or surgery center privileges are not required, but temporary privileges may be available if necessary.

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Board eligibility required in Obstetrics and Gynecology (certification preferred but not mandatory).
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Licensing: Must hold or be eligible for a Nevada state medical license.
• EMR System: Proficiency in the MEDHOST electronic medical records system is preferred.
• Credentialing Timeframe: Estimated credentialing time is approximately 30 days.
