We are seeking a dedicated Registered Dietitian to join a rehabilitation and nursing center in Vestal, NY. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient health and wellness through personalized nutrition care.
Location: Vestal, NY
Role Type: Onsite
Schedule: 40 hours/week working Mon-Fri, 8am-4pm
Pay Rate: $52.34/hr
Start Date: ASAP
Employment Type: Temporary, estimated duration through March 1, 2026
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct nutrition assessments and develop individualized care plans.
• Provide one-on-one and group nutrition counseling to support disease management and recovery.
• Implement evidence-based nutrition interventions for diverse patient populations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support program development and contribute to account revenue and operating profit.
• Uphold organizational mission, values, and service standards through clinical excellence.
What We’re Looking For:
• Current, up-to-date resume required.
• Bachelor’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or a related field.
• Registered Dietitian credential (RD/RDN) through the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Experience working in a skilled nursing facility.
• Strong communication, organizational, and business acumen.
• Ability to meet compliance requirements including TB test and MMR vaccination.
