The Radiology Physician provides diagnostic imaging interpretation and performs light interventional radiology procedures in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The role requires cross-credentialing at multiple sites and involves a regular weekday schedule with optional weekend day shifts, without night or on-call duties. Responsibilities include a wide range of interventional procedures and compliance with hospital regulations, supported by a team of radiologists.

- Monday Friday: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Weekend day shifts available: 7:00 AM 4:00 PM
- No night shifts
- No on-call

- General diagnostic radiology and light interventional radiology (IR)
- Cross-credentialing required for multiple sites

- Weekdays: 7 AM 4 PM or 8 AM 5 PM
- Weekend day shifts available
- No on-call
CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret general diagnostic imaging studies
- Perform light IR procedures including:
- IR On-Site: Arteriograms, CT-Fluoro biopsies, ablations, embolization, kyphoplasty, gastro placement, pleurx catheter insertion, nephrostomy tube insertion, port placements, tunneled/non-tunneled catheters, dialysis graft declots, biliary drainages
- General On-Site: Lumbar punctures, myelograms, arthrograms, fluoro BE-UGI-barium swallows, modified barium swallows, ultrasound-guided biopsies, thoracentesis, paracentesis, galactograms
ADDITIONAL DUTIES:
- Complete hospital compliance modules
- Participate in cross-site credentialing
VOLUME & SUPPORT:
- Average RVUs per shift:
- Supported by a pool of 4 radiologists reading for RHN
