How you’ll make an impact in this role

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate educational activities related to perinatal nursing clinical areas. Serve as a strategic consultant for perinatal clinical performance initiatives to create, implement, and evaluate multi-faceted competency-based programs, delivery mechanisms, and clinical performance.

• 
  Lead the assessment, design, implementation, and evaluation of multi-faceted, competency-based perinatal nursing professional development programs, including transition-to-practice programs in alignment with ANCC/NPD standards, to optimize clinical performance, competency development, role transition, and professional growth of perinatal caregivers.
• Partner with cross-functional leadership and staff to analyze educational needs, serving as a strategic consultant for inter-professional programs that ensure practice at the highest extent of licensure.
• Utilize specialized tools and measurements to evaluate the achievement of learning goals, managing high-level performance standards and clinical competency processes across the organization.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. 

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required

Work Experience:

• Required professional licensure at time of hire

What additional preferences we're seeking

We are seeking a candidate with

• Master's degree in Nursing (MSN), Education, or a related field.
• Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPD-BC) or a clinical certification in a Perinatal specialty (e.g., RNC-OB, RNC-MNN).
• Three (3) years of recent clinical experience in a relevant perinatal setting.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, instructional technology, and application of adult learning principles.
• Familiarity with ANCC accreditation standards and experience managing nurse residency or transition-to-practice programs.
