Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for a CAA Certified Anesthesia Assistant for locum tenens coverage in Springfield, MO. This opportunity offers ongoing, full-time or part-time coverage with competitive compensation and travel accommodations.
Description:
Looking for a full-time Anesthesia Assistant, but candidates with minimum 3-day/week availability will also be considered for long-term, ongoing coverage. Shifts are Monday-Friday, 7a-5p CST, with 10- and 12-hour shifts available. Multiple providers are scheduled daily.
- Shifts: 10 and 12 hours, day and evening shifts available
Facility Details:
- Total ORs: 17, all operating simultaneously
- Support Staff / MDs: 4:1 medical direction model
- Case Types: Complex neuro, spine, ENT, EP, OB/epidural
- Required Advanced Skills: Intubations, arterial lines, vent management
- Patient Population: Adult and pediatric cases
- DEA: Not required
Requirements:
- CAA Certified Anesthesia Assistant
- Proficient in adult and pediatric anesthesia care
- Comfortable performing intubations, arterial lines, and ventilator management
- Minimum availability: 3 days per week
