HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Nashville, Tennessee.

Must have: Active RN license. ACLS. BLS. ICU experience.
Procedures performed on unit: Insertion of central lines, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, chest tube insertions, EVD insertions.
Unit Specifics: · Number of Beds : 31 · Patient Ratios : 2:1, sometimes 1:1 or 3:1 depending on acuity/staffing (patient ratios are estimated and not guaranteed) · Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : unit secretary staffed during dayshift. Occasional nurse extern working as a tech. · Type of equipment: Ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, EV 1000. · Documentation system: Meditech · Scheduling requirements: Minimum weekend requirement is 4 weekend shifts per schedule. Schedule is done in 4 week increments. Self-scheduling to an extent. Manager will move shifts to balance out schedule. · Floating policy: Contract labor is first to float. If the staffing need is in med/surg, contract labor is expected to float to med/surg and take the assignment. · Patient Experience requirements: Expected to provide attentive and compassionate care to patients/family members.
