RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:
• Work three 12-hour shifts per week
• Provide care for patients under 2 years of age in a 108-bed NICU
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:4 depending on patient acuity
• Rotating weekends and holiday schedule required
• Float to PICU, Pediatrics, and CICU as needed (contract staff float before permanent staff)
• Required certifications: BLS and NRP
• Must have minimum 1 year Level III NICU experience
• Experience required with preemies (at least 28 weeks and above), central line management, and respiratory management including intubated patients
• Preferred experience with surgical patients, cardiac patients, patients under 27 weeks, trach infants, and broviacs
• Work with equipment including nasal cannula, bubble CPAP, ventilators, oscillators, IV pumps, NIRS, warmers, and isolettes
• Procedures performed include central line insertions, circumcisions, exploratory laps, gastroschisis reductions, and PDA ligations
• Documentation systems: CPN and Meditech
• Unit staffed with RNs, LVNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
• Dress code: Royal blue scrubs required
