This role is ideal for an experienced professional who is confident handling high-volume surgical pathology and frozen sections in a fast-paced lab setting.

• Schedule: Monday Friday

• FTE: Full-time coverage

• Setting: Hospital pathology laboratory

• Gross examination of biopsies and complex surgical specimens

• Perform and stain frozen sections

• Proper allocation of medical renal and muscle biopsies

• Work closely with histology and grossing teams to ensure workflow efficiency

• Approximately cases per day

• Roughly blocks daily

• Case mix includes surgical excisions and biopsies

• No rounding required

• Dedicated Grossing Technician & Histology Technicians

• EMR systems in place to support efficient documentation and workflow

• Certified Pathologist Assistant (PA-ASCP) Required

• Board Certification Required

• Must be comfortable with frozen sections and complex resections

• Availability for the full assignment timeframe is strongly preferred
