Key Responsibilities
- Project Coordination & Support
Assist Project Managers in daily operations, including RFIs, submittals, schedules, and document control.
Help develop and track project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards.
- Client & Subcontractor Communication
Facilitate effective communication between field teams, clients, and design professionals.
Attend OAC (Owner-Architect-Contractor) meetings and record meeting minutes.
Support issue resolution through proactive follow-up and detailed documentation.
- Estimating & Preconstruction Assistance
Assist with estimating tasks, including takeoffs, bid coordination, and scope reviews.
Help compile and analyze subcontractor bids and pricing information.
- Project Closeout & Documentation
Help manage punch list completion and final inspections.
Assist in assembling closeout documents, warranties, and turnover packages.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
3+ years of relevant experience in commercial construction
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), project management platforms (e.g., Procore, MS Project)
Knowledge of construction drawings, submittals, contracts, and RFIs
Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
OSHA 30-hour certification (preferred, or willingness to obtain)
