We are seeking an experienced Cardiology Critical Care Physician Assistant for a 84-day locum tenens assignment in West Virginia. This opportunity begins on Jan 5, 2026, and features a flexible schedule with 7 on/7 off or 14 on/14 off consecutive night shifts, typically 13-14 hours per shift.

Responsibilities and Duties- Provide advanced cardiac intensive care to critically ill patients during night shifts
- Manage and monitor patients in a Cardiac ICU setting
- Respond to acute cardiac emergencies and implement appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute treatment plans
- Document patient care activities accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate in handoffs and transitions of care to ensure patient safety
Additional Information- Must have Cardiac ICU experience
- West Virginia license required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (AGACNP-BC) required
