- Patient Volume/Census: Annual ED volume approximately 5,500
- Admissions: Included as needed
- Case Mix: Emergency medicine across full age range
FACILITY INFORMATION
- No. of Beds in Department: 25; 5 (EM beds)
- EMR System: CPSI
- Office Equipment Available: Standard emergency department equipment
- Specialty Backup Available: Other specialty physicians available on-site
- Support Staff Available: Registered nurses and specialty physicians

- Hospital Privileges Required: Yes
- Credentialing Timeline: 4560 days

JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Licenses: Active West Virginia license/IMLC accepted
- Board: ABEM preferred; ABFM or ABIM accepted with extensive EM experience
- DEA: Required
- Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of emergency medicine experience
- Other Qualifications: Ability to manage diverse emergency presentations in a rural critical access setting
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide comprehensive emergency medicine coverage for all age groups
- Manage emergency cases consistent with a critical access hospital setting
- Deliver safe and timely clinical care during 12- or 24-hour shifts
- Maintain accurate documentation in CPSI EMR system
- Collaborate with nursing staff and specialty physicians to provide coordinated care
