Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure and data center operations, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 - Nightshift to join their dedicated team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 - Nightshift, you will be an integral part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the Data Center Operations team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Electrical 3 - Nightshift
Location: Boydton, VA
Pay Range: $48 - $50/hr.
18 Months on W2
Night Shift B: 12-hrs (Thu-Sat) & (Wed-Sat)
What's the Job?
- Support electrical infrastructures across multiple data center facilities, ensuring continuous and reliable power supply.
- Perform shutdowns and replacements on remote power panels, power distribution units, and master controllers as needed.
- Conduct Power Interruption Testing (PIT) and support critical load management activities.
- Assist with building management systems (EPMS) and electrical system troubleshooting.
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, including OSHA and NFPA 70E certifications, while working in high-availability environments.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical systems within critical infrastructure environments such as data centers, hospitals, or manufacturing facilities.
- Valid OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification required.
- Experience with building management systems (EPMS) and electrical shutdown procedures.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour night shifts, rotating shifts, or extended workweeks.
