A multidisciplinary team of design professions with the shared goal of creating innovative solutions for today's most complex challenges is seeking a talented Sr. Civil Site Project Manager for its Chantilly, VA, office.
As a Sr. Civil Site Project Manager, you will work on a wide variety of high-profile and diverse projects for both public and private sector clients. Project types include mixed-use and transit-oriented developments, government facilities, residential communities, commercial and office developments, utilities and infrastructure projects, and data centers.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support civil engineering site development projects from concept through completion.
- Prepare detailed site plans, grading plans, stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, and utility designs.
- Perform site layout, roadway design, and infrastructure planning in compliance with applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
- Utilize Civil3D/AutoCAD to prepare engineering drawings and documentation.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective, and technically sound project delivery.
- Review and interpret technical reports, including geotechnical, environmental, and traffic studies.
- Provide mentorship to junior staff and support project management tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- 8–15 years of civil site design and land development experience.
- Proficiency in Civil3D and AutoCAD.
- Strong knowledge of site planning, stormwater management, grading, and infrastructure design.
- Experience working with private sector clients and/or public sector/federal agencies.
- PE license required.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
