Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology
- Valid State Medical License
- DEA Certification
- BLS and ACLS Certifications
- Ability to provide 24/7 hospital-based care
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with advanced procedures such as EUS or ERCP
- Prior hospital-based practice experience
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in gastroenterology
- Proven track record in emergent care settings
Other Requirements:
- Commitment to providing night shift coverage (17:00 - 07:00)
- Ability to quickly obtain emergency privileges, with credentialing expedited
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $4,290.00 for a 14-hour shift, with shift coverage from January 19 to January 30, 2026.
