We re currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner - Hematology/Oncology to join our amazing team.
Details of the Opening:
- Start Date: February 2026
- Contract Length: 22 weeks
- Outpatient/Clinic
- Schedule: 5x8 days, M-F 0830-5p
- Support staff: APPs, physicians, RNs, MAs
- Patients per day: About 12 - 14/day
- Patient population/age: Adult
- Dept is apart of large cancer center; they see variety of cancers like breast, GI, GU, and Hem/Onc
- Infusions happen on site, infusion knowledge required for locum
- Will be facilitating patient visits and managing in-basket messages
- EMR: Epic
Requirements:
- Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant Program
- License required: CA PA required
- DEA: CA DEA Schedule 2 required
- Certifications required: AHA BLS
- Minimum experience required: Must have at least 2 years RECENT experience working in adult outpatient oncology setting; preferred if provider has worked with breast, GI, or GU cancers; preferred if provider has infusion experience
