Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position on a trauma unit, requiring an active AL or compact RN license and at least two years of recent specialty experience.

Responsibilities

• Position is based on the 7 South trauma unit in a hospital setting
• Med/Surg Tele unit with trauma patient population
• 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Meditech EMR system is used on the unit
• Orientation hours provided at the start of the assignment
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate with no mileage restrictions
• Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules
• Candidates must complete a Cardiac Exam after offer acceptance, with the link provided within 48 hours and expiring after 24 hours
• No HealthStream modules required prior to start
• All documentation and compliance requirements must be fulfilled before beginning the assignment

Requirements

• Active AL or compact RN license with no disciplinary actions
• Minimum of two years’ RN experience, including at least one year recent in the Med/Surg Tele specialty
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
