Job Responsibilities:- Conduct PRN Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments.
- Engage primarily in interview-based evaluations with some physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Document findings and submit reports, including any necessary addendums, in a timely manner.
- Provide services either at designated facilities or at your own office, ensuring proximity requirements are met.
- Maintain ongoing communication regarding the assessment process and patient care standards.
- Board Certified in a relevant specialty (family medicine, internal medicine, or general medicine).
- Experience with compensation and pension evaluations is preferred.
- Proficient in METs testing, with a strong background in evaluating respiratory and cardiovascular health.
- Must have own office to see Veterans if providing services independently.
- Active and unrestricted medical license in Louisiana.
- Certification from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
- Willingness to complete DMA training for certification.
